Malaysia- Really, Feels truly like Asia.

Have you ever experienced being discouraged by peers with regards to your travel plans?
I've been told several times that this place was not worth the trip. That the place was nothing extra- ordinary. But I believe that you've never really experienced being there when you haven't even made 3 days of it. Yep, been there recently. Malaysia, truly Asia.
So we came in via LCCT. It's way far from Kuala Lumpur. What we did was we rode Star Shuttle bus services. The kiosk is located near the airport's exit. (You can't miss them). The shuttle has services that will transfer you directly from airport to your hotel with a very reasonable price. We chose Bintang Warisan Hotel.

The hotel is located in Bukit Bintang. It is near to most establishments. Very good location for food, nightlife and shopping. What I love the most with this Hotel is that they have a restaurant which serves authentic Malaysian food.
The hotel lobby looks like this. Exteriors was well provided with coat of arms and flags.

Outskirts are clean. But at night, It's loitered with all kinds of people.

Main transportation is via the trains.

But our main route of going around the tourist spots is thru the KL Hop on- Hop Off buses. I love them because, they're cheap, they're comfy, and they take you around the best of places in no time. Plus, you control your itinerary so you can take as much pictures as you can. And that's without a travel guide telling you to be fast since your time bound. So I'll take you to some of the spots I love.

The food, amazing. There is a place full of streetfoods that is well air- conditioned. Isetan is located at Lot 136 and is very near our hotel. Of course, every country has a Chinatown.

Imagine, picture above is the Old Rail. Looks like a palace to me.
This is the fountain at Little India. Cheap wares are here. But you have to be good with haggling.
Above is the gate for the King's Castle. You must be here before 2 PM. They close the gates early so visiting should be the first thing in mind.

Islam Center. I love the metal design. I just couldn't figure out what it meant.

Menara Tower. There is a restaurant at the top. But I never really have a chance to dine in there.
And here is the Iconic "Petronas Tower". Tower One houses the offices for Petronas, the main Gasoline company in Malaysia. Second tower is for a variety of buildings. The bridge is open for tourists. But they are expensive.

Here is the train system. Small Cabs for cutie.
And here is the regular Parking Lots. Imaging a place full of Lambhorgini's. Much like the Fast and the Furious.

I had the luxury to visit the old king's throne. The Golden throne is located at the Cultural Center of Malaysia.

Merdeka Square. It's clean and the facade is amazing.

 One World. One Roof.
I heart KL. The photo area at the center of Kuala Lumpur.

The museum houses several items which shows the rich history of Malaysia.

At dusk we went back to Petronas so we can view the towers at night fall.

In front of the Petronas, there's this beautiful building.
The whole area is located at KLCC. We put on the nightcap after this. Preparing for our Genting trip the next day.
Resorts World Genting is located at Genting Highlands. Located at the highest peak of Malaysia. Imaging riding the cable car for the whole ten minutes. I was told that this is the longest cable car in SE- Asia with the length of almost 3-4 KM. Below is our photo near the entrance.
And below is our photo in between the mountains. In short Genting Highlands is within the clouds.

Genting Highlands is the first and largest Indoor and Outdoor Theme park in the SE- Asia. High end Roller Coasters, never fails.

Graffiti at it's best is everywhere.
Indoors shows different places on one spot. Imaing travelling the world in a few hours.
So we've been in the NYC.
 Time Square
 Kodak Theater at Los Angeles.
 And the Eiffel.
The Rail system is a whole larger that the Philippines. But it's not that complex. Though a step lower than those of Hong Kong's and Singapore, they're easy to navigate with.

And the Central Market. One of the most iconic places in KL. The place is a market for legit Malaysian products. They are cheap as long as you know how to haggle.

Dinner time. We have Middle Eastern Cuisine. Amazingly good.
On our last day, we went fr chocolate shopping at Berryl's Chocolate World.

They house the cheapest and one of a kind chocolates. I had the Dark Choco- Chili flavour.
You've never been here till you've stayed long enough to feel Malay. I defy those whom told me that the place is disappointing. Apparently, Malaysia is the best country that I've seen so far. The food is superb, Travel spots are amazing and the products are cheap.
It's legit. Malaysia, Truly Asia.
